Getting Connected |

|
One of God's purposes for the Church is to serve as an extended family. It is a community where people can build friendships while growing their relationship with God. We think that it all has to do with connecting in relationships - with each other and with God. This is why Hannaford Street Bible Church seeks to connect people with God and each other through worship, growth, and sharing.
The following steps for "getting connected" are not so much a progression, but a circle of growth and transformation in our relationship with Christ and they are the beginning steps of connecting here at Hannaford.

Worship is a time of celebration and encouragement with other believers in which God is honored, praised and glorified through various expressions including music, prayer and the spoken word. It is an opportunity to experience the presence of God in a manifest way.

|
Children's Sunday School and Sunday morning Adult Classes are study groups of 5-20 people who meet Sunday mornings between the first and second worship services. These meetings at church usually provide various opportunities for Bible study, prayer, and encouragement. This is one great way to grow in our knowledge of who God is and what He is like. |

Hannaford@Home Groups are groups of 5-12 people who meet regularly together to deepen friendships and grow as disciples of Jesus Christ. Usually, these groups meet in local homes for Bible study, prayer, sharing and ministry to each other. |

As we are changed by Christ and grow in knowledge of our Creator, we are naturally led to a place where we desire to share the God we know with others. This sharing can be verbal, but also involves caring for and reaching out to others both inside and outside of church. At Hannaford, there are many opportunities to volunteer and serve. |

Discover Hannaford |

One great way for newcomers to "Discover" more about Hannaford is to plan on coming to a Discover Hannaford dinner. Meet new friends at the dinner and find out more from the pastors and others already connected here at Hannaford. |

|
The next step, then, is to attend our Discover Hannaford classes on Sunday mornings. These are a series of three informative classes about the church titled Why Hannaford?, about our staff and ministries titled Opportunities, and about how this church has changed lives in our Impact class. |
