Hannaford Kids
We love kids and we love sharing Jesus with them. We believe that the Bible has a lot to say to kids. We have an amazing team of volunteers at Hannaford that work to share the truths of the Bible in exciting, interactive, and life-changing ways. Our ministry includes activities on Sunday mornings during the Worship Services, Sunday evenings, and throughout the year when we have special events geared just for kids.

Junior Camp
The Candy Land game is a trek through the Peppermint Forest, over the Gumdrop Mountains, following the Rainbow Road all the way to Candy Castle. It’s a sweet adventure of discovery and good ole fashioned competition!
Girls Book Club
We’ll be reading and discussing “The Disappearing Stranger,” Book 1 of the Adventures of the Northwoods series, together over coffee and treats!
Shelby Dziekonski has been working full-time as the Children’s Director at Hannaford since January of 2023. Prior to that she was involved in working with ministry and kids in some capacity for nine years. Shelby grew up at Hannaford and feels that in a lot of ways her main goal is to recreate what she herself experienced while she was a kid. “My faith was so greatly impacted by this church and the volunteers—some of whom I have the honor of serving with now. It’s important to me that the songs I learned about Jesus, the stories and verses that came to life for me at church, and the kindness, care, and support I had at church when I was a kid are available for all the kids that visit us each week. It’s also very important to me that all these kids not only come to know Jesus for themselves, but that their relationship with Him is built on a solid foundation.
The world is constantly changing, and what it really needs is an upcoming generation with unshakable faith that cannot be swayed. AND it’s the greatest privilege of my life to watch all these kiddos grow up and discover more about God and who He’s called them to be.” In 2024 Shelby married Brett who continually supports, encourages, and works alongside her in the ministry.
