Children's Ministry Director

Shelby Dziekonski has been working full-time as the Children’s Director at Hannaford since January of 2023. Prior to that she was involved in working with ministry and kids in some capacity for nine years. Shelby grew up at Hannaford and feels that in a lot of ways her main goal is to recreate what she herself experienced while she was a kid. “My faith was so greatly impacted by this church and the volunteers—some of whom I have the honor of serving with now. It’s important to me that the songs I learned about Jesus, the stories and verses that came to life for me at church, and the kindness, care, and support I had when I was young are available for all the kids that visit us each week. It’s also very important to me that all these kids not only come to know Jesus for themselves, but that their relationship with Him is built on a solid foundation.

The world is constantly changing, and what it really needs is an upcoming generation with unshakable faith that cannot be swayed. AND it’s the greatest privilege of my life to watch all these kiddos grow up and discover more about God and who He’s called them to be.” In 2024 Shelby married Brett who continually supports, encourages, and works alongside her in the ministry.
